Immediate Care of Asphalt / Macadam Surfacing – Advice for our customers

Every care is taken to ensure that only first-class materials and workmanship are used in the preparation and laying of your driveway.

Please do your part to ensure your drive will give you first class service by observing the following guidelines:

• Do keep all vehicles off the tarmac for a minimum period of one week.
• Do not spill petrol, diesel or similar substances onto the surface.
• Do not use ladders or other point loading appliances without the use of a board to spread the load.
• Do avoid any unnecessary steering during the early months of use, especially in hot weather, this can cause scuffing of the surface and is irreparable.
• We would also add that sometimes due to prolonged hot weather, the surface can be affected even after a fair lapse of time from laying of the asphalt/macadam. If this should occur, caution must be exercised when using the drive.

Whilst we guarantee our work against faulty workmanship and materials, we cannot include unfair wear and tear as listed above.
